Cob Gallery Makes A Triumphant Return To Miami’s Untitled Art Fair With Three Female Painters
Nurturing young artists at the beginning of their careers is key to the growth of both the artist and the art industry. Cob Gallery, founded in 2011 by playwright Polly Stenham and gallerist Victoria Williams, is dedicated to this cause.
Initially established as a central London project space supporting emerging artists, writers, and makers, Cob evolved in 2016 into a permanent contemporary gallery renowned for its UK debut solo exhibition programme and the championing of emerging and predominantly female artists.
This month, Cob Gallery triumphantly returns to Untitled Art at Miami Beach with an influential exhibition of new works by three highly gifted female painters: Sunyoung Hwang, Yoora Lee and Erin Milez.
These artists with diverse backgrounds and practices have come together to exhibit their works in this curated showcase for the first time. A exhibition not to be missed, featuring paintings that explore everything from the conscious to the unconscious mind, emotions and memories, and the mundane aspects of our lives seen through a cinematic and thought-provoking narrative.
Sunyoung Hwang is a talented artist based in London who obtained her BFA in Fine Art from the Slade School of Fine Art, London, in 2012. She later completed an MA in Painting at the Royal College of Art, London.

Erin Milez is a painter who graduated with an MFA in Painting from the New York Academy of Art in 2021. She currently lives and works in Bayonne, New Jersey and is represented by Monya Rowe gallery in New York.
